Do I have to pay a fee for a license or permit or pay any taxes for exports of alcoholic beverages?
There are no fees for obtaining a Federal Permit, however, you may be required to file and pay Special Occupational Tax (SOT) when you commence business. Please note: As of 10/22/04, the payment of the SOT was suspended for certain businesses. Please see our page on the suspension of SOT for more information.
